建国初期邓小平对毛泽东民族理论的重要贡献

Deng Xiaopings Contribution to Mao Zedongs Theory of Nationalities in the Initial Period of the Founding of the PRC

建国初期 ,邓小平在《关于西南少数民族问题》的讲话中 ,提出 :马克思主义、毛泽东思想是能够解决民族问题的 ;单就国防问题考虑 ,也应该把少数民族工作摆在很高的位置 ;民族工作的中心任务是搞好团结 ,消除隔阂 ;少数民族的事应该由他们自己当家 ;实行民族区域自治 ,不把经济搞好 ,那个自治就是空的。这些重要思想 ,对毛泽东民族理论作了具体阐发和补充丰富 ,成为毛泽东民族理论的重要组成部分。对于我们今天做好民族工作 ,实施西部大开发战略 。

Deng Xiaoping,in his On Issues of Minority Nationalities in Southwest China,pointed out that the problems of nationality can be solved by Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought;as far as national defence is concerned,national affairs are of great importance;the top task of the national affairs is to reach union among all nationalities,to mend the walls;the affais of minority peoples should be let to be handled and governed by themselves;national autonomy will be futile without economic development in the regions.The ideas greatly compensate and enrich Mao Zedongs Theory on Nationalities and become an important part of it.Deng Xiaopings theory is also of significant importance in the present national affairs and in the development of the Western Frontier of China.
