摘要 数字地质图是以数据为基础、GIS技术为平台的空间数据库,为了更有效地进行数字化地质图的交流、管理与共享,迫切需要发展地质图数据模型。本文以美国地质调查所地质图数据模型研究为例,说明定义一个关系数据模型,使它可以在一个现代地理系统上实现,并为实施该关系模型所必需的工具和方法;同时还提示了在完成和发展该关系数据模型中所需注意的问题。 The digital geological map is a spatial database with data as its basis and GIS techniques as its platform.In order to effectively exchange,manage and share digitalized geological maps,it is imperative to develop geological map data models. Based on the investigation of the geological map data model by USGS,the paper defines a relational data model which could be implemented on a modern GIS and serves as a tool and method which would be needed to carry out the relational data modelling.The paper also points out problems which sould be paid attention to during the completion and development of the relational data model.
