摘要
本文从认知心理学的角度提出了改进语言测试精度的一个有效方法 ,即在测试中引进速度参数 ,以精确地反映出个体及其知识结构在利用已有知识处理眼前的信息方面的差异。通过一个阅读理解的认知测试实验 ,文章试图证明 :引进速度参数的语言测试能更为精确地测出被试的语言能力。
This paper presents a general review of cognitive psychology and its implications for language testing. Individuals differ in their knowledge structure and in the knowledge retrieval process, or the retrieval speed, it is thus sensible to incorporate the speed parameter in the final ability estimate of the examinees in order to improve the precision of language testing. An experiment of cognitive testing of reading comprehension is cited to show that the introduction of the speed parameter in testing provides greater precision in assessing the examinees’language ability
