外资进入对北京市技术创新的影响分析

The Influence of FDI's Entry on Beijing's Technological Innovation

文章以北京市历年获得的发明专利授权数为因变量,以北京市历年实际利用外国直接投资的存量为自变量,研究FDI的进入对北京市技术创新的影响。研究结果显示:北京市历年利用外资的存量与北京市历年的发明专利授权件数之间呈现二次曲线的关系,北京市的年发明专利授权件数随着外资的进入,先呈微弱的下降趋势,随后是上升,并且是加速上升。也就是说,外资的进入对北京市的技术创新在最初一段时间内有一定的负面影响,但经过一段时间后有着明显的正面影响,即外资进入北京后,先对北京地区的技术创新具有替代效应,最终具有积极的竞争效应。

This paper studies the influence of FDI's entry on the technological innovation of Beijing.As a dependent variable,the annual number of invention patents in Beijing represents the ability of technological innovation of Beijing,and as an independent variable the annual FDI stock in Beijing represents the extent of FDI's entry into Beijing.The result shows that the relationship between the annual number of invention patents in Beijing and the annual FDI stock in Beijing is a second curve.That is to say,FDI's entry into Beijing has a negative effect on the technological innovation of Beijing initially,but after a period of time there is a clear positive influence.In other words,FDI's entry into Beijing has a substitution effect on Beijing's technological innovation in the beginning,and ultimately has a positive competitive effect.
