Breeding Report of High Starch Maize Hybrid "Jinongda 568"

玉米新品种"吉农大568"是以"JND364"为母本、"G1513"为父本育成的杂交种。2年区域试验结果:平均产量10 488.3 kg/hm2,比对照"新铁单10"和"登海9号"增产10.5%;生产试验结果:平均产量8 729.7 kg/hm2,比对照"登海9号"增产15.0%。该品种于2006年通过吉林省农作物品种审定委员会审定。"吉农大568"果穗长筒型,穗长20.1 cm,穗行数16,子粒黄色,百粒重41.5 g,单穗粒重249 g,品质好,抗病抗倒伏,出苗至成熟131 d。适于吉林省晚熟区种植。

A maize hybrid 'Jinongda 568' was accomplished using 'JND364' as female parent and 'G1513' as male parent.Its yield was 10 488.3 kg/hm2 in the 2-year regional test,10.5% higher than that of the control variety 'Xintiedan 10'.And its yield was 8 729.7 kg/hm2 in the production test,15.0% higher than that of the control variety 'Denghai 9'.'Jinongda 568' was examined and approved by Jilin Evaluation Committee of Crop Variety in January of 2006.'Jinongda 568' is a single-cross variety of high starch maize.The ear of the hybrid is cylindrical,20.1 cm in length,16 in ear rows.The kernels are yellow color,and 249 g in weight per ear.The weight of 100 kernels was 41.5 g.The growing period from seedling emergence to maturity was 131 days.The hybrid is resistant to diseases and lodging.It suits to be planted in the late mature area of Jilin province.
