A Brief Analysis of the Appreciation Styles on Shaanxi Modern Landscape Painting

20世纪上半叶,在"一手伸向传统,一手伸向生活"的口号引导下,长安画派走向生活、走向西北,创作了一大批风格鲜明、雄浑厚重,反映人民新生活,具有浓郁西部特色和强烈时代精神的经典之作。紧随其后的陕西画坛,沿着长安画派开创的艺术道路,立足西北黄土地,追求厚重、苍浑和艰生的笔墨感觉,呈现出强烈的"西北风格"。

In the early years of 20th Century,with the calling that artistic creation should reflect tradition as well as realistic life,the artists of Chang`an painting school created a lot of classics with the characteristics of western local life and strong vogue of day in the Northwest of China.Following the artistic features of Chang'an painting,Shaanxi painters base their drawings on the Northwestern local life,pursuing a generous,discreet,vigorous and forceful painting skill,showing a very sense of Northwestern Style.
