一种微型嵌入式数字视频服务器

摘要 普通摄像机均以模拟方式(PAL或NTSC制式)输出图像,迫使数字视频应用系统使用PC机经过采集卡实现图像的数字化。为了最大限度地减少模拟视频传输中的干扰,避免图像经过编码、模拟传输、再次解码数字化过程中导致图像细节信息的损失,提出一种采用压缩芯片和高效网络芯片,基于嵌入式Linux系统的微型嵌入式数字视频服务器,解决了大数据量音视频流的实时压缩传输问题。将图像的数字化从计算机端,前移到了摄像机端,可将数字摄像机获取的数字视频或者普通摄像机的模拟视频,压缩成MPEG流、打包并通过以太网传送。 Since the video outputs of the common camera are analog mode of PAL or NTSC, a PC capture card has to be taken in a video system to convert it into digital mode. In order to reduce the disturbance in the transmission and avoid the losing of the details of the video information during the encoding transporting and decoding of analog video, a micro embedded digital video server was set up. It is based on the Linux operation system and composed with IC chips for compressing and networking. With this server, the real time compression and transmission of large number streams of the audio and video were realized and the digitalization of the video was taken ahead from the site of computer to the camera, and the video taken from both digital and common analog camera then can be compressed into MPEG streams and transported through the internet.
