The paper summarizes the superiority and problems of seed production in winter season of Hainan province by analyzing its annual precipitation,annual duration of sunshine,annual mean temperature and the isolation condition in the light of the climatic,soil and isolation conditions for seed production of hybrid maize varieties to provide a reference for large acreage seed production in hybrid maize.
