王佐良先生是我国著名的英国文学史家、教育家、翻译家、莎学评论家。本文在对王佐良先生的主要著作《英国散文的流变》深入研读的基础之上,参考其他学者对于王佐良先生学术成就的评价,从而总结出他的学术思想与成就。

Wang Zuoliang(1916-1995) is a famous British literary historians,educator,translator and Shakespeare critic in China.In this paper,by studying his book,"the History of British Prose",aggregated the characteristics of the research on the History of English Literature,which summarized its literary criticism of the methods.
