从传统开始的《远航》——用功能语篇理论分析小说《远航》中的传统写作手法

本文作者运用功能语篇分析理论对伍尔夫第一部小说《远航》进行及物性分析、语气分析及主位推进模式和信息结构分析,并得出结论:处于小说创作初期的伍尔夫虽然开始了意识流写作的尝试,但由于深受传统作家现实主义写作模式的影响,其作品仍表现出诸多传统小说创作的特征。这一结论丰富了国内学者对这一位意识流大师及其作品的研究。

Based on functional discourse analysis theory, the author analyzes Virginia Woolf’s first novel The Voyage Out, from the aspects of transitivity, mood, thematic progression pattern and information structure respectively. The study concludes that in the early stage of novel writing, despite Woolf’s attempt at stream-of-consciousness writing, her first novel The Voyage Out bears strong characteristics of traditional novels. This conclusion enriches domestic studies on this master novelist and her works.
