On the Status Quo of the Development of Tertiary Industry and Modern Service Industry in Urumqi and Some Countermeasures

改革开放以来,特别是"十五"以来,乌鲁木齐市根据党中央、自治区及我市的战略定位,坚持"三、二、一"产业发展方针,不断推进产业结构战略性调整,大力发展服务业,以商贸流通业为主的服务业已成为乌鲁木齐市经济增长的重要力量、就业富民的重要渠道和地方税收的重要来源。

Since the reform and opening-up of China,especially since the tenth"five-year plan",Urumqi has all along implemented the policy of developing"Tertiary,Secondary,Primary"industries,continuously readjusted the industrial set-up,and put great efforts to develop service industry.Now the service industry in Urumqi mainly on the basis of business and trade circulation has become the important sector of the new economic growth,the important channel of employment,and the important source of local tax revenue.
