在《中国图书馆分类法》(第4版)中使用沿革注释符号"{}"是为了用户能够方便、快捷地了解新版分类法在原旧版基础上的变动,便于用户采用新版分类法对藏书进行重新分类。但是大量的例证说明了"{}"符号的使用有需要修改之处,部分使用"{}"符号标识的类目需要重新评定。

Using history notes '{}' in the Chinese Library Classification (4th edition) is convenient for users to understand changes of the Chinese Library Classification (4th edition) from its 3rd edition, and to use the new edition to reclassification. A large number of examples illustrate the inappropriatable use of '{}' , and some categories which using '{ }' need to be accessed again.
