孙中山现代化国家建设理论包括理想方案和实际方案两个层次 ,其中理想方案包括民族建国(国家现代化的基础 )、民主建国 (现代国家的本质 )、民主主义 (国家的经济功能 )三个方面 ,它具有理论上的全面性、思想上的前瞻性。

Sun's theory of the construction of a modern country shows itself in two levels--a practical level and an idealistic level. The latter is composed of such three aspects as state foundation by the Chinese nation(the basis of modernization), national reconstruction through democracy (the nature of a modernized country)and socialist democraticism (economic function of a state). This idealistic project is characterized by being theoretically comprehensive, ideologically forward-looking and practically operative.
