Confucian Dispute Over Ration and Passion in the Earlier Qing Dynasty &Its Modern Enlightenment

先秦儒家以其对欲的一定程度的肯定、对道的挚烈推崇、对由道而德的具体现实化过程中“欲”的前提与基石性作用的认识、对道的足欲作用的洞察 ,提出依道足欲、以道足欲 ,又以道制欲的主张 ,成为先秦理欲之论中的一股主潮。先秦儒家关于理欲问题的探讨 ,对于我们推动社会主义市场经济条件下的精神文明建设富有启益。

Based on the understanding of the relation between ration and passion, Confucians in the earlier Qing Dynasty put up ideas like ' meeting one's passion based on and with morality; suppressing one's desire with morality ' and etc. This dispute gives enlightenments in the spiritual civilization construction in the condition of the socialist market economy
