摘要
《傲慢与偏见》与《简·爱》两部小说素有理性与激情之区别,但仔细读来,会发现两者的主要特征———主题思想是一致的,同时,人物的发展和与之相关的故事情节的铺展都经历了三个阶段,二者之间有着惊人的相似之处,有异曲同工之美。
Through a comparison of two novels: Pride and Prejudice andJane Eyre,this essay aims at elucidating a surprising similarity between them: the main themes, and the three stages shown in the development of character in relation to the development of plot, etc, despite their differences of reason and passion.
