老年性急性阑尾炎62例临床分析

Acute Appendicitis in the Elderly:Review of 62 Cases

目的:总结老年急性阑尾炎的诊治经验。方法:回顾地分析我院1998～2001年4年期间62例老年(≥60岁)急性阑尾炎病例。结果:62例老年急性阑尾炎,男性36例,女性26例,平均年龄72.5岁,44例手术切除痊愈,18例因阑尾脓肿或伴发严重内科疾病而行保守治疗好转,其中26例出现术后并发症,本组病人无死亡。结论:老年急性阑尾炎因易于坏疽、穿孔、脓肿形成应早期手术,同时要妥善处理伴有的内科疾患。

Objective: TO summarize the experience of the diagnosis and management of acute appendicitis in the elderly. Methods: 62 consecutive patients with acute appendicitis in the elderly were retrospectively between 1998 and 2000 in our hospital. Results: Sixty-two cases of acute appendicitis in the elderly(≥60 years) occurred in 36 men's and 26 women with average age of 72.5 year. 44 patients were cured by appendectomy, 18 patients were healed by antibiotic due to abscess formation or severe medical conditions. Conclusions: Appendectomy should be performed as soon as possible in the elderly patients with acute appendicitis.
