随着知识经济的发展,高职教育的外语教学应该按照素质教育和能力本位思想的要求,进行课程和教材的改革,按学生的外语程度分班组织教学活动,建立新的教学评价体系。教师要适应这种变化,及时调整自己。

With the development of knowledge-economy, it is very necessary to make the course reforms in the foreign language teaching of higher professional education, which is based on the students' qualities and abilities, thereby a reform target can be set that each student has an opportunity to chose some courses designed for themselves. The degree of the textbook should be in accordance with that of the students' knowledge, and at the same time the students should be divided into different classes according to their foreign language degree, besides this, there is another need to set up a new evaluation system of teaching and learning. Teachers who are engaged in foreign language teaching should adjust themselves to this change as soon as they can.
