新世纪，随着知识经济时代的到来和我国“入世”进程的加快，对教育事业，特别是对教师提出了更高的要求，要求教师要牢固树立教师职业价值观念、具有不断更新的教学观念、优化的知识结构、不断发展的教学能力和研究者的教学形象。

In the new century, the Knowledge Economy Age is coming and WTO is nearer. The current society poses a higher challenge to our education, especially, to the modern teachers. Teachers should be imbued with professional values, constantly updating teaching and learning concepts, and perfect the knowledge-constitu- tion. They also should increase their teaching ability and establish themselves as teaching researchers.
