饶宗颐学术馆建筑设计既借鉴潮州传统民居的特征,将它演译深化,又结合现代功能要求,进行创新探索。并把岭南传统庭园引入建筑空间,体现潮州"朴实、典雅、秀丽"

The design of Rao Zongyi Academic Museum not only derives from the characters of traditional dwellings of Chaozhou, but also has carried on the innovative exploration from the modern functional requirements.This design has introduced Lingnan traditional garden into architectural space,then the museum has emboded with the Chaozhou architectural style: simplicity,elegance and beauty.
