浅议砖作为面层材料的表现

砖在剥离了其传统的结构承重作用之后,产生了新的建造方式,在表现上也有了更为丰富的可能性。欧美众多优秀的现代砖建筑证明了这种古老材料在现代的生命力。近几年国内也有一批建筑师或事务所在砖材料的表现力方面进行了或多或少有益的尝试。本文在此基础上讨论砖作为面层材料的表现,在继承传统的基础上,探讨采用新方法,使用为人熟知的材料(砖)和建造方式(砌筑),使它们再次活跃起来。

When brick was freed from its traditional load bearing function,there generated new construction methods and brought a higher potential in performance to this material.Numerous examples of modern brick buildings have proven the vitality of this ancient material.In recent years,a number of domestic architects have explored the potentials of this material.This paper focuses on the performance of brick and explores new methods which will bring traditional masonry into activeness.
