虹影是近年来颇受关注的海外华人女作家。在虹影的长篇小说中可以看到她有意识地突破了传统的叙事手法,娴熟运用各种超常的、奇特的、能强烈刺激人情感的叙事方式,达到了意想不到的艺术效果。从"叙事"的角度来解读虹影的小说,或许是一种投"机"取"巧"之途。

Hong Ying is currently one of the prominent female writers of Overseas Chinese-language Literature.She purposefully breaks through the traditional narrative technique by tapping into unique narrative modes to provoke the readers'emotions and thus to achieve an extra artistic effect.The author aims to obtain an in-depth understanding of Hong Ying's narrative technique through a narratological interpretation of Hong Ying's novels.
