摘要
20世纪90年代以来美华新移民作家出现了新的创作动向:哈金、严歌苓等人逐步获得了一种"自由"写作的姿态,在某种程度上超越了移民文学的"离散"特性,这种超越与作家的主体选择密不可分,也与时空距离、家园意识、文化根性等因素的变化密切相关.其结果是,这一部分作家的创作正在失去作为一种"移民文学"的内在特质.
The New Immigrant literature in the US manifests different characteristics since the 1 990's.Ha Jin,Yan Geling et al.began to write'freely'and to a certain extent transcend the'diasporic'identity, which is replete with their choice of subjects, time-space, homeland consciousne ss and cultural attributes.These writers'works are losing the genius of immigrant literature as a result of the so called'free writing'.
