本文提出"应用"是新建本科院校人才培养的核心。论述了新建本科院校必须以培养应用型人才为宗旨,新建本科院校定位要体现"应用",培养目标要体现"应用";人才培养模式要体现"应用"。

This paper has brought forward the point that 'application' is the core of personnel training in newly built universities and colleges with regular college courses.It has expounded newly built universities and colleges with regular college courses should operate on the principle of cultivating applied personnel,their orientation,training targets and personnel training models all towards 'application'.
