Analysis of and Solutions to the Developmental Issues in Basic Education in Ethnic Minority Regions in Yuxi

多年的努力,民族地区基础教育已今非昔比,但也存在不容忽视的问题:教育投入与教育发展要求还不相适应,远程教育资源难于适应当地特点,还存在不同程度的危房;教师队伍不稳定,专业比例失调。为此,应采取以下措施:提高财政预算内教育经费的比例,实行开放型教育,加强少数民族地区农村义务教育师资队伍建设,推进信息技术教育,加快危房改造步伐。

While the education in minority areas has been improved greatly,inevitable problems as follows do exist: inadequate educational investment against growing education demands,unsuitable long-distance educational resources,decrepit teaching buildings,teachers' instability and professional imbalances.Accordingly,following measures should be taken: increasing the proportion of educational funds in government budget,popularizing open education,enhancing the training of qualified rural teachers for the compulsory education in minority regions,promoting informational technology education and accelerating the pace of repairing decrepit teaching buildings.
