Work and Leisure:Conflict and Integration of Values

劳动与休闲的矛盾在形式上表现为时间分配上的冲突,但深层次的问题是价值观的冲突。这种冲突的主要根源不在于时间的稀缺性,而是尚未实现劳动的解放以及私有制为基础的社会造成的劳动的异化。解决二者之间矛盾的根本办法是发展生产,消灭资本对劳动的特权,实现劳动分配上的公平,树立劳动至上的价值观。

The conflict between work and leisure appears to be the clash of time distribution.Beneath the surface,the conflict is of values.The source of the conflict is not the scarcity of time,but the yet to be realized liberation of work and the alienation of work in a society of private ownership of property.Its solution lies in development of production,elimination of privileges of capital to work,realization of equality in labor distribution,and establishment of the value for the supremacy of work.
