面对21世纪经济全球化引发的各国对海洋利益的争夺,如何把中国建设成为一个真正的"海洋大国",维护国家的海洋主权、利益和安全,坚定地走和平发展道路,我们就要掌握制海权、探明海资源、站稳东南海、东出太平洋、进军印度洋大西洋、登上南北极,这就是当代中国海洋战略的价值取向。

Facing all countries' struggle for the oceanic interests,triggered by economic globalization in the 21st century,and the problems of how to turn China into a real ' oceanic power',to maintain national sovereignty over the oceans,interests and security and to firmly take the road of peaceful development,we should control the thalassocracy,explore oceanic resources,hold Southeast Ocean,expand east to the Pacific,march towards the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean,and set foot on North and South Pole,which are value orientations of oceanic strategy in contemporary China.
