张晓风:用诗人情怀传达人文意识——重读台湾第一部科幻小说《潘渡娜》

张晓风是一位有着悲悯情怀的人文作家,她的人文意识不仅体现在她的散文和戏剧里,同样也体现在她的为数不多的小说里。她于1968年发表于《中国时报》的《潘渡娜》,填补了台湾科幻界的空白。在这篇作品里,她在科幻与现实的交相辉映中阐释人文,并将科幻的想象引向人性的空间,同时又对科技进步带来的不可知的后果表现了深深的忧虑。《潘渡娜》所传达的人文忧思至今仍是科幻界的热门话题。

A compassionate writer with deep humanistic concerns, Zhang Xiaofeng presents her humanistic consciousness in her prose works, drama, and her few fiction. Panduna, published in China Times in 1968, was the first in Taiwan of its kind, wherein she presents her understanding of humanism through fantasy, mingles fantastic imagination with human world, and expresses her anxiety of the unknowable consequences of the advances in science and technology. The theme of humanistic concerns as conveyed in Panduna still remains a hot issue in science fiction.
