陈独秀纪念像创作的几点体会

Experiences on Producing the Memorial Sculpture of Chen Duxiu

去年春天,中国美院教师张克端接受安庆市文化局"独秀园"筹建处邀请,参加园区改扩建工程中陈独秀像的创作。雕塑坐落于园区中轴线上,建筑师设计规定总高1200cm,表现"五四"时期陈独秀。雕像的创作前后花去近一年半的时间,作者记录下了创作过程中的体会与读者分享。

Last spring,Zhang keduan,lecturer of China Academy of Fine Arts,began to attend the project of memorial sculpture of Chen du xiu. The project was invited by An Qing Municipal Culture Office,purposed to widen 'Du xiu Garden'. The sculpture was in the central axes of the garden,with height of 12 meters by architecture,which representing Chen Duxiu during' May,4th ' period. It took the artist about one and half years to finish the sculpture. The artist recorded his experience of making the sculpture. He’d like to share the experience with the readers here.
