中国的当代艺术已在思考传统、关注当下、融于时代的进程中探索良久,中西方文化的不同形态,在交融对撞中产生了中国新的艺术面貌。因此,把握当下的艺术语言,思考当下的艺术方法,并提出建设性意见,十分必要。本期分别从题外补充、公共艺术与公共制度、文化交互中的中国当代艺术等方面展开讨论。本刊希冀有更多的理论家、艺术家参入其中。

Chinese Contemporary art has already explored the process of consid- ering tradition,concerning in contemporary,melting into the time for a long time.A new artistic look has emerged from the crashes of Chinese and western ciuilizations.Therefore, it is very essential to grasp the contemparary artistic languages,ponder the contemparary artistic methods,and provide the constructive comments.This issue launch the discussion with the supplemented topic,public art and public system,Chinese con- temporary art in alternative cultural process,and so on.And we hope that more theore- ticians and the artists could participate into the discussion.
