Cartoon Phenomenon in Japanese Contemporary Sculpture

日本当代雕塑中以不同角度蔓延着卡通的风俗,卡通对于日本社会的存在感是无可替代的,日本文化中的卡通现象也是挥之不去的。本文通过对村上隆、奈良美智、矢延建司、北川宏人、菽内左斗司等人艺术作品的分析,探索卡通这一文化物种在日本当代艺术生态中的生存与进化论。

The cartoon custom sprends into different angles of the Japanese contem- porary sculpture realm.Nothing could replaces cartoon in representing the existence feeling of the Japanese society,and the cartoon phenom- enon always exists in Japanese culture.Through the analyses of the works of Takashi Murakami,Yoshitomo Nara,and some others,this article shows the ecological survival way and evoluting theory of cartoon in Japanese contemporary art.
