The Process of Fallen Leves Decomposition and the Function of Soil Animals

通过试验,介绍了东北东部地区土壤动物在3种阔叶树落叶分解过程中的作用。

In this paper the fallen leaves decomposition of three kinds broadleaved trees and the function of soil animals in the decomposition process have been studied.The result showed that the weight losses speed of three kings dead leaves as follows : Northeast China Ash>White Birch>Mongolian Oak.The periods of half decomposition and the time of ninety-five percent decompo-sition of the dead leaves of this three kinds as follow.Northeast China Ash 0.4~1.7 years,White Birch 0.9~3.9 years,Mongolian Oak 1.9~8.2 years.Among large soil animals,Earthworm,Enchytraeid,Diplopoda,Insect(lara) play an important role in the decomposition process of dead leaves,so do Nematoda,Acarina,Collembola and other more than thirty kinds among small-medium soil animals.
