摘要
先秦货币中的面文有的是地名,这些地名大多为先秦时期的城邑或城市。战国后期流通的圜钱中有"垣"字铭面文一种,本文认为该种圜钱流通的上限当不会早于公元前394年,垣地的地望当在今垣曲县古城镇西二十里的王茅镇。
Some characters on the Pre-Qin currency were the place names, most of which were the cities/ town names during that period. One kind of the round coin, which was circulated in the later stage of the Warring States period, had the character 'Yuan'. The author holds the view that this round coin was circulated not as early as BC 394 and the location of Yuan was in the Wangmao town that is 20-mile west away from today's Yuanqu county.
