试论当代城市发展与文化传承关系——以广州为例

On the Relationship of Modern Urban Development and Cultural Inheritance——a Case Study of Guangzhou

从广州作为一座千年历史文化名城,文化积淀丰富厚重,近年随着城市快速发展,已形成对名城文化的冲击和破坏这一基本事实出发,指出城区扩大、人口增长、政区转型、旧城改造等是名城文化被冲击和破坏的根源。而为协调城市发展与文化传承之间的矛盾,应区别旧城、新城和乡村等城市地域类型,采取相应对策和措施。

Based on the facts that Guangzhou,a historic cultural city with rich cultural accumulation of thousands of years,has been shaken and destroyed by the rapid urban development,it points out that the expansion of urban area,the increase of population,the transformation of political regions and the remaking of old cities are the main sources that shakes and destroys the culture of famous city.In order to resolve the contradiction,it is supposed to deal with different urban types in different ways and take corresponding countermeasures.
