佛经与韩愈诗文的用词反复之关系

Word Repetitions in Buddhist Scriptures and in Han Yu’s Poetry and Prose

诗文至韩愈而风格大变。他借鉴先秦两汉散文的经验,以复古为创新;同时,与僧人多有交往,喜爱佛寺壁画,必然对佛经有所寓目。佛经善于反复铺排且反复的次数特别多,韩诗用词反复的手法和特点又与汉译佛经特别相似,因此,韩诗的用词反复现象必然是其借鉴汉译佛经的结果。

Han Yu brought a change of style to poetry and prose. While he innovatively drew on prose in pre-Qin period and the Han Dynasties, he maintained close contact with monks and admired Buddhist mural paintings. He must have read some Buddhist scriptures. Buddhist scriptures make frequent use of repetitions, and word repetition is an obvious feature in Han Yu’s prose and poetry. It can be concluded that Han Yu’s use of repetition is influenced by Buddhist scriptures.
