A Basic Study on Planning and Design of Highway Landscaping

高速公路作为现代化的交通设施具有"快速、安全、高效、低耗"的特点,在国民经济建设中发挥着日益重要的作用。高速公路沿线景观的研究工作,在发达国家已有专门的设计机构和专业人员,我国尚处于探索和实验研究阶段。从高速公路景观的构成要素入手,从人的视觉生理角度、美学原理等方面,探讨了各种景观要素的特点及其重要性,并研究了道路景观序列、道路线性景观、道路路际景观和路域景观。

As a modern transportation infrastructure,the ever-expanding highway network in China is playing a more and more important role in the national social-economical life,due to its desirable features such as high-speed,safety,efficiency,and low power consumption.In developed countries,there are specialized organizations and professionals that focus on the study of highway landscaping.However,this study is still in its infancy in China,although a good foundation has been laid out through years of exploration and experimentation.This study intends to address the above issue by systematically discuss the key elements of landscaping design in the context of highway landscape.In particular,based on esthetic properties of human visual system such as color vision,the study investigates highway landscape sequences,road linear landscape,roadside landscape,and road-wide landscape.
