《诗经》中有大量的婚恋诗,从一个侧面反映出当时的女性在爱情和婚姻生活中的地位。《诗经》时代,社会环境相对宽松,女性尚未受到过多的限制和束缚,个性和感情较少受到压抑。她们拥有比较广阔的活动空间,能够自主地选择爱情的对象,主动、大胆、自由地追求爱情,在婚姻生活中也拥有较高的地位。

There are large number of love and marriage poems in 'The Book of Songs'.From one aspect,these poems reflect female's status in love and matrimonial life at that time.It can be seen that the social environments was comparably loose,so that female didn't have so many restrictions,and their individualities and affections were not inhibited heavily.They had comparatively vast breathing spaces,and could choose marriage partners freely and pursued love actively,boldly and freely.They also had higher status in matrimonial life.
