This paper consists of three parts. The first part specifies the status and functions of fan on energy-saving, the domestic and overseas current situation of fan on energy-saving and the developing trend of energy-saving technique for fan. The second part introduces the means and potentials for energy-saving, the selection and energy-saving for fan, the research and application for energy-saving of fan. At last, the paper points out the potentials and main countermeasures for energy-saving of fan.
