无论从政治、经济层面,打工阶层都属于社会底层。学术界纷纷认为当今的底层是一个被知识分子表述出来的底层,应该让底层发出自己的声音。当前由底层自己向社会发出声音仍需要一个过程。知识分子在一段时间内为底层代言无疑是构建底层文学最可能的路径。知识分子应以真诚的姿态,平视、介入、设身处地的写作去观照和表现底层。

Rural migrant workers in cities are disadvantaged groups,and they belong to the bottom of society.Presently,it is difficult to let these 'bottom'people express themselves to the public.Therefore,intellectuals being a voice for the 'bottom 'people is undoubtedly a most feasible way to construct the 'bottom'literature.Intellectuals should take an attitude of sincerity towards the 'bottom 'people,and observe and depict them by an equal position.
