Ethnic Minority Population in Northeast China:Development after the Founding of P. R. C

人口是社会物质生活的必要条件,建国50多年来,东北少数民族人口得到前所未有的发展,但同时,其发展又具有明显的阶段性、区域不平衡性和民族差异性等特征。研究东北少数民族人口的发展,对巩固和谐的民族关系,促进各民族繁荣发展,构建和谐社会,实现东北振兴,具有重大意义。

For more than 50 years since the founding of P.R.C,the population of ethnic minorities in northeast China has made an unprecedented development.However,the development is characterized by clear levels,regional imbalance and nationality differences.It has the great significance to study the development of ethnic minority population in northeast China for consolieating harmonious ethnic relations,improving the development and prosperity of various nationalities,building the harmonious society,and revitalizing the northeast area.
