《石头记》“记”何事——《石头记》旨在为曹家“辩冤”

What Recorded in Shitou Ji Purports to Plead Injustice for Cao Xueqin's Family

甲戌本的"凡例"称:《红楼梦》《风月宝鉴》《石头记》,"此三名则书中曾已点睛矣",然而我们在目前的书中,只看到了《红楼梦》《风月宝鉴》的"点睛"处,并没有看到《石头记》的"点睛",为什么呢?我们认为,《石头记》的"点睛",见诸于八十回之后的文字,而这部分文字,旨在为曹家"辩冤",势必会有"碍语",曹家不允许其"问世传奇",遂就称其在被人借阅时"迷失"了。

It was noticed by Notes on A Dream of Red Mansions of Jiaxu version that there were all finishing points in A Dream of Red Mansions,The Treasure Mirror Reflecting Romantic Affairs(Fengyuebaojian) and Shitou Ji.But we have not read such points in Shitou Ji.It is proposed that the finishing points of Shitou Ji hide behind the texts after the eighth chapters.The writer tried to present pleading for Cao Xueqin's family which improper words would be used in the writing,so the family prevented such a meaning from being publicized,and thus being missed by others.
