朱熹论两汉诗赋——兼与晁补之比较

Zhu Xi's Comments on Poetry and Ci Fu of the Han Dynasties and Their Comparison with Chao Buzhi's

朱熹在《楚辞集注》与《楚辞后语》中,因研究《楚辞》的需要而选录、注释、评论了一些汉代诗歌和辞赋。其编选旨趣颇受晁补之的影响,青睐抒情写怀及思想雅正之篇什,所作注释简明扼要,瑕瑜并见,而影响甚大。朱熹在品评两汉诗赋时,崇尚古朴自然,反对靡丽夸张,表现出很高的艺术鉴赏力;而其对司马相如、扬雄、蔡琰等人的人格评判,显然有以道德批评代替文学研究的倾向,表现出理学家的保守性和局限性。

In Collected Commentaries on the Songs of South and Some More Notes on the Songs of South,Zhu Xi selected,noted and commented on some poems and Ci Fu for the reason of studying the Songs of South.Greatly influenced by Chao Buzhi,he favored pieces of expressing one's emotion and with elegant meanings in his selection.His notes are clear and to the point and of extreme significance.When commented on poems and Ci Fu,Zhu Xi advocated simplicity and naturalness and opposed extraordinary decoration and exaggeration,showing a lofty insight of artistic appreciation.On the other hand,what he judged on personalities of Sima Xiangru,Yang Xiong and Cai Yan showed an obvious tendency of replacing literary study with ethical criticism,demonstrating conservatism and limitation of a Confucian.
