In 2001, one of my sculpture works was displayed in a small sculpture exhibition in Taiwan. There was a sentence in its preface:“The variety of modern art enlighten us on the consideration of all-round sculpture creation, that is, modern sculpture is pursuing abundance thoughts, creative ability and in aspects of material, form and connation.”I think that this sentence can interpret“ pan-sculpture”. We also have a simple concept for “pansculpture”: material, technology and idea are all open, and eventually the works is a unique three-dimensional plastic art. This concept may be vacuous, however, its meaning doesn't lay in academic value but in expressing our creative and tolerate attitude.
