摘要
19世纪末20世纪初美国女作家凯特.肖班的《觉醒》和中国著名作家鲁迅的《伤逝》深刻地反映了当时女性寻求个性解放和自由的思想。本文通过对两部作品中女主人公冲破男权社会的束缚,从觉醒到幻灭的悲剧命运的比较与剖析,展示了中美两国妇女解放运动发展状况的异同。
The ideas of women' s pursuing individualism and freedom are deeply reflected in both American female writer Kate Chopin's Awakening and Chinese famous writer LuXun's Shangshi.In this article,the two heroines' tragic lives from the awakening to disillusion were analyzed and compared to show the differences and similarities in Chinese and American women movements at the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century.
