《西游记》是一部悲剧小说

作为中国古代文学名著之一,《西游记》所塑造的人物形象、所蕴含的深刻内涵,对当今的阅读者,也有较大的启示。如:孙悟空这一形象,作者通过虚拟其传奇经历,展现了其悲剧人生和其生存的悲剧社会。更为重要的是,通过对作品的解读,让我们深深的体会到,今天社会所残留的封建余孽,在作品中都能找到对应点。当然,我们也应看到,从西方现代写作理论看,作品似乎还存在故事情节单调等不足之处。但这并不妨碍我们对作品的欣赏。

The character images created and the deep connotation implied in Journey to the West,one of ancient China's four literary classics,still have their great revelation for the readers nowadays.Taking Monkey King as an example,his tragic life and tragic society he survived in were revealed through visualizing his legend experiences.By analyzing the great work,more importantly,readers may feel obviously the remnants of the feudal times embodied in it.From the point of modern western writing theory,however,Journey to the West does not seem perfect in some aspects,such as dull plot,while it has little to do with our readers' appreciation of this famous piece of work.
