The Important Role of Government Support for the Success of the Australian Vocational Education System

由政府支持、和政府牵头的职业教育培训包的制定和先进的教学理念,是澳大利亚职业教育体系取得成功的重要条件。本文对中澳两国职业教育的教育理念和教育方法进行了比较研究,为我国高职的进一步发展提供了思路。

This article sums up experience gained by Shanghai Business School through 8 years of Sino-Australian cooperation in the area of vocational education.It points out that the government support,the introduction of the government-sponsored training package,and advanced notions concerning teaching and learning form the essential conditions for the success of the Australian vocational education system.Based on a comparison of the two vocational education systems,the article also provides thoughts for further development of China's higher vocational education.
