关于意译与语言的背景知识——以日本文学为例

On Liberal Translation and Language Background Knowledge——Based on the Case of Japanese Literature

翻译过程中必然会涉及两种语言背后所包含的不同文化、不同的社会习惯及思维方式等背景知识.在日语翻译中无论口译还是笔译.都需要做好翻译的准备工作,其中时所译语言背景知识的掌握是其中重要的一环.本文以日本文学翻译发展过程中曾出现的误译现象为例,来说明掌握语言背景知识的重要性。

Translation involves two different languages' background knowledge,such as national cultures,social customs and thinking modes.In the process of the Japanese translation,both of interpretation and liberal translation,mastery of the background knowledge of the translated language is the most important work of all preparations.Based on the case of mistranslation during the development of the translation of Japanese literature,this paper illuminates the importance of the mastery of the language's background knowledge.
