One of the important methods for pepole to learn the main points about news is through newspaper headlines. People usually just look through the headlines to find out the contents which they're really interested in. The main features of headlines are shown by their conciseness and generalization. However,because of the difference between Chinese and English,some distinctive styles and characteristics in structure,order,diction,tense and voice can be found respectively in Chinese newspaper headlines and English newspaper headlines.
