摘要
省略是英语的一大特点,不仅在书面语中常见,而且口语中尤为明显。本文通过对一些真实语境中的功能词的省略现象进行实例分析,试图揭示出功能词省略的一些规律。
Ellipsis is one of the major characters in English,which can be seen in both written English and spoken English.Through the analysis of some instances about ellipsis of the functional words in authentic situations,this essay tries to reveal some laws of ellipsis in functional words.
