The teaching of physics for physics majors at a teachers' college should give adequate emphasis on the development of students professional abilities and skills which include:a good understanding of the idea behind the textbooks,a sound grasp of the characteristics of physics,a mastery of laboratory skills,modern information technology,and interpersonal skills needed to create a good relationship between the teacher and his students.
