On Inhibition of Traditional Chinese Culture-Long-term Continuity of Feudal Chinese Society

关于"中国封建社会长期延续"的原因的探索,史学界众说纷纭。要找到这个问题的答案,不得不考虑传统文化的因素。传统文化的抑制性功能对内表现为对其它文化元素的抑制,窒息了中国传统文化原有的天性发展和文化创造力,对外则表现为对异己文化的排斥和消解,抑制了推动社会更新的外来驱动力,从而维系了封建社会的稳定性。

In the field of history,there are various researches into the long-term continuity of feudal Chinese society.The traditional cultures must be considered to get the answers.The character of inhibition of traditional Chinese cultures is not only the inhibition of other cultures inside,stifling the natural development and cultural creative power of traditional Chinese cultures,but also the rejection of other cultures as well as dispelling other cultures outside,inhibiting the external prompting from renewal of society thus to maintain feudal society.
